2012 Activities
World Class Coaches will be conducting the following activities
in support of four national charities as part its 2012 Community
Outreach efforts.
Donate 5% of the gross coaching fees collected by the company
to The American Cancer Society, American
Heart Association,
Huntington's Disease Society of America or The
United Way of America .
Our primary objectives in supporting these causes are to
assist in finding a cure for the diseases through our fundraising
efforts, and creating awareness of the need to do more to
support the cause of each of them.
To assist in creating more awareness, in 2012, World Class
Coaches will provide paid coaching clients with an option
as to which of the four causes they desire the WCC contribution
to be directed. Our clients will select one of
the following the 5% from their coaching fees will be donated
to:
American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society save lives by helping people
stay well, get well, find cures, and fight back. Great strides
have been made over the past 20 years on this front, however
we still have a long way to go.
American Heart Association
The mission of the American Heart Association is to build
healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and strokes.
A lot of progress has been made over the years, but a great
deal more is needed in this area.
Huntington's Disease Society of America
World Class Coaches has pledged $100.00 to Huntington's
Disease Society of America for each interception by
the San Diego Chargers football team during the 2011 NFL
Season, including playoffs. The contribution will be based
on the total number of team interceptions. Great progress
has been made the past five years in this space, however
much more is needed on this front.
The United Way of America
World Class Coaches has pledged $500,000.00 from
the sale of the book Says Who? to
The United Way of America.
The focus of United Way of America is identifying and resolving
pressing community issues, as well as making measurable
changes in the communities. The issues
United Way of America focuses on are determined locally
because of the diversity of the communities served. However,
the main focus areas include education, income and health.
